Team Bios
Martin Kozicki
Co-Founder / VP
Originally born in Detroit, Martin’s family came to Tennessee as part of, as he calls it, The Great Saturn Migration of 1989.
Raised in Franklin, Martin has witnessed firsthand the growth that Middle Tennessee has seen over the past 30+ years, and has a keen familiarity with the various cities and neighborhoods around Nashville.
Seeing a need to provide busy Realtors with plug-and-play assistance, Martin and his wife, Shanda, planted the seed that would grow into MyRealtyHelper back in 2004.
Affectionately referred to as the “Godfather of Contract-to-Close”, Martin now assists many of Nashville’s top Realtors, and regularly consults with agents and brokers alike on how to improve compliance and maximize efficiency.
Martin currently lives in Spring Hill with his wife and 3 children. He is active in his faith, enjoys cooking for family and friends, and is a passionate hockey fan.
Fun Fact: Martin has a certification as an apiarist — he’s a licensed beekeeper!
Shanda Kozicki
Co-Founder / President
Shanda was raised in Central Florida, but fell in love with the seasonal transitions of Middle Tennessee.
She started her career in real estate as a solo agent and later moved into a team manager position in Nashville, overseeing several new construction developments from 2004 to 2006.
When the market shifted in 2006/2007, Martin took the reins for MyRealtyHelper while Shanda went back to school to become a Registered Nurse.
After several years working with amazing physicians and support staff in area hospitals, Shanda returned to MyRealtyHelper full time in 2018.
Shanda specializes in listing management, contract-to-close, and system planning / implementation.
Shanda lives in Spring Hill with her husband, Martin, and their 3 children. She is active in her faith, and enjoys eating her husband’s cooking.
Fun Fact: As the mother of a teenage son who plays hockey, you can often find Shanda at the local ice rink with her laptop in tow. #GoalieMom
Kimberly Johnson
Transaction Manager
Kimberly was born in Detroit, but forever claims Tennessee as home.
Prior to joining the real estate industry at MyRealtyHelper in 2015, Kimberly had a 25-year history working in childcare. It is, we think, this innate desire to care for others that makes her such a lover of people and willing to help so many buyers and sellers as one of our transaction managers.
She also previously worked in insurance, framing, and telecom, which is understandable given her keen eye for details and ability to adapt to new systems.
Kimberly thrives on helping Realtors look like rock stars to their clients! She is a true team player, helping to manage timelines, and always looking for the win-win solution.
Kimberly lives in Franklin with her daughter, and an ancient cat named Maggie.
Fun Fact: Kimberly is a serious Tennessee Titans fan, and never misses a game!
